What we collect
When you submit an inquiry through our Check My Claim form, we collect: your name, the previous property address (street, city, county, state), your current phone number and email address, your answers about the property loss and heir status, and your consent record. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, bank account details, or any login credentials to check a claim. Anyone requesting those in our name is not us. Please report it to us immediately.
How we use it
- To verify your potential claim against official county records
- To contact you about your inquiry by email or phone (that is the only marketing-adjacent contact we make; no SMS marketing, ever)
- To prepare and file claim documents if you engage us
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations
Who we share it with
Only what a case requires: the government agencies that hold the funds, the independent licensed attorneys working on your claim, and the service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, email delivery). We never sell your information, and we never share it with third-party marketers.
Retention & security
Inquiry data is kept while your case is open and for the period our legal obligations require afterwards, then deleted. Data is stored with access limited to the people working on your case.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to legal retention duties). Email privacy@cashclaim.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of states with specific privacy statutes (e.g. the CCPA in California) have the rights those laws provide; we honor them regardless of where you live.
Cookies & analytics
This site currently runs without advertising trackers. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-respecting measurement of page visits, and this policy will be updated first.
